Wondering if anyone knew how to register an event so it’s recognised nationally like the ‘World’s Biggest Coffee Morning’ by Macmillan.
Do you mean in terms of having the right to use descriptions like “world’s biggest” or “global coffee day”?
Charities such as Macmillan have the biggest coffee morning, Small Charities Week is created by the Foundation of Social Improvement. Are these nationwide events registered with a official body or is this just due to branding/marketing?
There used to be a website where you could claim dates and register as your own e.g. Seaside Week, National Book Day but I can’t find it. I will ask around!
I think this article will help you: https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/8-rules-creating-your-own-national-awareness-day-ricky-clarke
@Belinda_Booker you’re a star. This is perfect - thank you
@MelissaJane thank for the response. I was thinking the same thing. I’ve seen a few websites but I thought that you would also need to register the day/event. It seems like it more branding then an official registration.
