I seem to continually have to convince event organisers I consult with that the added value from experienced presenters which you must pay is far greater than an average free speaker. If anyone has some data or stats on this topic to back this up, that would be fantastic!
Does anyone have some data/stats on proven value of experienced payed speakers VS barter/free speakers?
I am not aware of much research on the ROI of professional speakers, but a couple of years back one bureau did release a report based on their booking and enquiry data, which you might find of interest? https://www.speakerscorner.co.uk/page/buoyant-corporate-speakernomics-speaks-volumes-about-uk-business
