Hi Melissa, it is indeed! It is mainly digital media at the moment (facebook ads) but we have some articles and ads going into magazines - for example for our junior course we have an ad in a families magazine.

I am currently working on creating events that will focus on a holistic approach to skincare. Sounds like it’s certainly worth testing the families magazine. I’ve found social media ads very hit and miss but search and digital display much more effective. Really depends on the audience and the event type though I think.

I’m would say a type of workshop maybe? I’m not too sure, to be honest. It would be based on some physical activity, meditation and some talk about a healthy balanced lifestyle is beneficial for your skin.

Maybe you could test out different formats and set up opportunities where your target audience already congregates e.g. gyms, mums groups, alternative therapy centres, golf clubs, etc.

Hi everybody! I am Derya founder and director of Love Makes Events, have been living in London around 1 year. My company basically gives service for about baby shower, birthday, private parties (engagement, henna, wedding, anniversary etc.) as well as corporate events. All my designs are bespoke and I really love my job! I care about to attend many networking events but my biggest challenge is finding right client audience. I started to work with the industry two years ago by chance. My former company was a B2B travel agency and we sometimes worked with events companies. That is when I first realized events planners were not totally happy with the current travel offer.

Actually giving an advertisement on Facebook & Instagram, attending many targeting facebook groups and posting about my company, for next month giving an advertisement to one of a magazine about families, attending networking events and dropping my leaflets to many places.

Sounds like you’re doing a lot of great things and networking is always a good plan. I would also recommend search & display advertising if you have the budget.

Hi! I’m Kathleen, living in East Providence, working in Dedham, MA. My company puts on educational events that teach people how to use SAP software. Our biggest challenge right now is eval response rates. We recently switched to all session evals through our event app and the response rates tanked. Any suggestions for how to fix that?
