UK events insurance provider suggestions

(Temi Odurinde) #1

I am organising a fun run. Can anyone suggest an insurance company that provides cover for running/sports events please.

Hi Temi, Event Assured specialises in all types of events:
We wrote a blog about getting the right insurance for your event, which you can find here:

Hi Temi

Hiscox have now taken over Event Assured as far as I’m aware. I’ve used Event Assured/Hiscox for my public liablity and indemnity insurance since I started my business over 5 years ago and they’re always very slick and professional.

Touch wood, I’ve never had any issues with them or my insurance in all that time.

Good luck with your search!

Hi Temi,

I work with a race organiser who do a lot of races in London, so I will ask who they use.

I’d also suggest asking Leisure Insure (based in Oxford) I know they do a lot with outdoor activities etc.

Hi Connor,
I will very much appriciate you asking the race organiser you work with. I am guessing that they probably know the best insurance provider for a running event.

I will checkout Lisure Insure.
Thanks for your time.

Hi @Temi, the guy I use is amazing. The lowest prices by miles for all event insurance. Some of the things they cover are amazing. Really worth the phone call. Ask for Paul (mobile number below) and please tell him Jay from Breaking Bands Festival recommended him. I won’t get a kick back but I am sure it will help when I come to renew my festival insurance next year!!!
