If you’re after an impressive summer party venue, I’ve just heard about a new event space that’s opening in the gardens of Kensington Palace next month. The Kensington Palace Pavilion is a glass fronted building overlooking the palace’s famous Sunken Garden and can accommodate 800 guests for a reception and 300 for a seated dinner (it will replace the Orangery for three years as it closes for renovation). There is a covered terrace and you can also use the area around the Sunken Garden.

I came across this one yesterday (online not visited) and it’s certainly unique: http://www.thelasttuesdaysociety.org/museum-curiosities/private-hire#.Wo_5K0x2tYd The Last Tuesday Society/Viktor Wynd Museum of Curiosities looks like a great choice if you’re after something off beat and rather different!!
