Enough of this cold weather, I’m already looking forward to warmer days and more daylight so I started wondering about outdoor events venues in London. Here’s a view to get us started: https://www.tagvenue.com/hire/outdoor-venues/london but would love to hear about others
The Cloister Garden at Museum of the Order of St John is a hidden gem I discovered on a walking tour when I was working for a charity. It’s an oasis in bustling Clerkenwell, full of flowers, shrubs and medicinal herbs and is often used for champagne receptions, weddings and garden parties. Paddington’s Floating Pocket Garden is due to open this Spring in Merchant Square. The new 730 sq m floating park in Paddington Basin on the Grand Union Canal will provide a striking green public space on the water with its own canal boat mooring. They both look gorgeous. Let’s hope for a decent summer!
Yes, I’m bored of Winter now. It seems to have gone on forever!
30 Euston Square has some new summer packages for its Rooftop Terrace and adjoining State Rooms. The space can accommodate up to 230 guests. Organisers can choose from two styles of food stations: The “Holy Smokes BBQ” station or the ‘Picnic in the Clouds’ station offering a British picnic menu. The packages start from £85 per person + VAT and include an up-lit bar, dance floor and entertainment. https://events.30eustonsquare.co.uk/summer-events-venue/
Looks great and sunshine is on it’s way back to us so I’m told!
Check out lovecamden.org where you can connect with London Borough of Camden events team to hire their outdoor spaces. Photos and footfall on the website. A fantastic one for brand activation is at Seven Dials at Covent Garden.
This is really interesting, thanks for flagging Ise. Great free/low cost opportunities for community events
