GDPR - Data held from event attendees


We hold several events as a business and therefore have data (email addresses etc) of our attendees. We only use this data for informing them about the event they are attending and any similar events.

How are people handling this with the new GDPR rules?

Any tips would be great!

If they didn’t specifically opt in to your mailing list for hearing about future events you’ll need to get that permission, I believe.
