Technology recommendations

What technology does everyone use to make life easier as a event planner?

Asana is great - can’t live without it! I also recommend Canva, SurveyMonkey, and MailChimp. Slack is very useful for collaboration, particularly if you’re working in a remote or distributed team.

@Marino do you know what the most popular API integrations are through Eventbrite Spectrum?

I’ve just discovered a cool new app called Huggg. It lets you send people a coffee (or other treats) by SMS or email. They can then redeem it in participating coffee shops (mostly in London, Bristol and Bath currently). I think this is a great way to get someone’s attention if you are maybe cold contacting them. You could say, "Please read my sponsorship proposal, and as a thank you for your time, here’s a coffee on me.’ Alternatively, it could be a good way to reward early bird ticket purchasers etc. What do you think?

Thanks Bel, I use this method to start conversations in Linkedin and it gives me a very high delight response

It’s certainly a way to stand out. I’m going to try it myself!
