What is your conference profit margin?

I’m curious what profit margins other planners are expected to produce? Especially if your event is secondary or tertiary to your main business revenue stream.

We are a digital marketing agency and use our conference as a supplemental revenue stream, however I’m working on resetting expectations to leadership for what EBITDA or profit margins should look like given the high caliber event we host.

I’d love some real averages of event margins by industry.
